Description

Named Chikuryū, or "Bamboo Dragon," this katana embodies the quiet journey from patience to greatness. Its tsuba depicts a lone serpent coiled around bamboo—two enduring symbols of wisdom and resilience. The bamboo bends without breaking, while the serpent moves with calm precision, reminding us that true strength lies not in force, but in adaptability.

Forged from premium T10 steel and differentially clay tempered, the blade reveals a flowing choji hamon, its clove-shaped pattern resembling blossoms carried upon the wind. Enhanced through traditional hazuya polishing, the blade reflects both masterful craftsmanship and centuries of Japanese swordmaking tradition.

Finished with a matte black saya and black silk-wrapped tsuka, Chikuryū embraces restraint over ornament. Every element serves the same philosophy: elegance born from purpose.

A katana for those who understand that the greatest transformations happen quietly—one measured step at a time.
