Description

Kujaku (孔雀), peacock, is usually linked with Buddhism and carries the values of compassion, care and wisdom among many others.

Peacocks have religious and auspicious connotations in traditional Japanese art. They are considered to be guardians from disasters as they can consume harmful plants and snakes, thus protecting humans. They are also symbol of wisdom and sometimes associated with fecundity (e.g. large and healthy family).

This is a hand forged folded steel blade, in damascus finish. The tsuba is made of brass and it comes with genuine rayskin tsuka. This is a fully sharpened sword.
