将军剑 is a distinguished Chinese short sword designed by Master Shen Xinpei (沈新培), a recognised inheritor of traditional heritage craftsmanship. It embodies the spirit of loyalty, courage and unwavering righteousness through both form and symbolism.
The handle bears the inscriptions 威震八方 and 浩然正气, phrases that reflect the commanding presence and moral strength associated with a true general. Classical fittings and engraved details further enhance its dignified, authoritative character.
The scabbard is richly detailed with meaningful motifs. Its upper section features the Fierce Tiger Descending the Mountain scene (猛虎下山图), a traditional symbol of power, fearlessness and unstoppable momentum. Alongside it is the Scroll of Sun Tzu’s Art of War (孙子兵法卷), representing wisdom, discipline and mastery of strategy. The lower section depicts the Great Wall, paying tribute to enduring strength and the grandeur of the homeland.
