Description

Nurhaci 努尔哈赤 was a Jurchen chieftain who rose to prominence in the late 16th century in Manchuria. A member of the House of Aisin-Gioro, he reigned as the founding khan of the Later Jin dynasty of China and is regarded as the founding father of the Qing Dynasty, which would later grow to have a profound impact on Chinese history, culture and politics over the next two centuries.

This is a replica of Nurhaci's 龙虎将军剑, bestowed to him when he received the title of assistant commissioner-in chief and the honour of "龙虎将军" (Dragon-Tiger General).
