Masshiro Tanto (真っ白)

A tanto in storage fittings.
When not in use, many katanas in the past were taken out in from their fittings and kept in Shirasayas for long term storage purposes.
A tanto like this is a blank slate waiting for its owner to colour it with purpose.
Forged with 1045 high carbon steel, fully sharpened and assembled with wooden fittings.
