The German M98 05 Butcher Sawback Bayonet was carried by German soldiers during WWI and was notorious for the vicious injury it caused when used. However, the aggressive sawback design was intended as a tool not necessarily as a weapon. The 19 1/4” overall length bayonet slides securely into an 18-gauge, black metal scabbard.
