Developed in collaboration with young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 Drop Point MagnaCut Gold is a compact fixed blade EDC knife that combines precise functionality with an elegant, premium appearance. Designed for users who value lightweight performance, versatility, and refined craftsmanship, the AK1 delivers reliable everyday cutting performance in a minimalist package.

Born in Fulda, Germany, in 1993, Alex Kremer began making knives at the age of 18. His design philosophy is strongly influenced by his travels through Scandinavia, resulting in clean lines, reduced forms, and a focus on practical function. The AK1 Drop Point reflects this approach with a compact design that maximizes usability without unnecessary bulk.

The drop point blade is crafted from powder metallurgical MagnaCut steel (62 HRC ±1), offering excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. This makes the AK1 an ideal fixed blade companion for precise everyday tasks, urban carry, and light outdoor activities.

A standout feature of this model is the removable gold anodized aluminum handle scales, which provide a distinctive premium look while maintaining a lightweight and comfortable grip. With the included Torx key, the scales can be easily removed and replaced with alternative handle options developed in cooperation with Daily Customs, allowing users to customize the knife to their preference.

The reversible lanyard hole at the end of the handle adds further versatility. When the scales are removed, it can be rotated and concealed within the handle, creating an exceptionally slim and discreet profile that enhances the knife’s minimalist character.
