The knife's iconic design is inspired by a military bayonet and can be conveniently carried on a belt using its simple aluminum sheath. Based on authentic historical examples and official documentation, HKT's modern reproduction combines traditional construction with high-quality materials.

The sturdy blade is crafted from 440A stainless steel and features an attractive satin finish. The metal handle is fitted with black POM scales whose fine texture ensures a secure grip, even in wet conditions. A prominent crossguard helps prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade, enhancing safety during use.

For secure and convenient carry, the German Scout Knife Original comes with a historically inspired metal sheath. An integrated spring clip keeps the knife firmly in place and prevents rattling during transport. This retention system may leave characteristic marks on the blade, which are completely harmless, do not affect performance, and give each German Scout Knife its own unique character.
