Black Prince Sword

The Black Prince Sword is a striking tribute to Edward of Woodstock, known as the Black Prince, one of England’s most celebrated knights. Renowned for his leadership during the Hundred Years' War, the Black Prince’s legacy endures in history as a symbol of courage and chivalry.

This sword features a highly ornate black and gold hilt, with intricate decorations and the Royal Arms of England displayed at the center of the guard. On one side of the pommel, you’ll find the coats of arms associated with the Black Prince, while the other side bears the iconic motto, "HONNI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE"—Old French for “Evil be to him who evil thinks.” This motto, also the creed of the Knights of the Garter, underscores the sword’s noble significance. Please note: This sword does not include a scabbard.
