The reverse blade katana, also known as the Sakabato, is a type of Japanese sword with a blade that is sharpened on the backside rather than the traditional cutting edge. This design was created as a way to allow samurai to fight without killing their opponents, as the blunt side of the blade would strike instead of the sharp edge. This reverse blade katana is inspired by Kenshin Himura's Sakabato in the anime and manga series Rurouni Kenshin, as a symbol of the new era of peace and nonviolence.
